Adam Benjamin Brown

Adam Benjamin Brown MRICS, Director, is responsible for the real estate asset management in the Nordics, based in Copenhagen, Denmark. Mr Brown’s role, day-to-day, consists of asset and investment management for the Nordic assets on behalf of numerous funds with various investment strategies (Value-Add and Core).

Mr Brown works on the following activities (not limited to): implementation of strategies to reduce vacancy and improve NOI, helping to create the right tenant mixes, negotiation of lease renewals/re-gearing of leases, overseeing redevelopments, refurbishments, fit-outs, etc, executing asset management plans to align required cash flows/portfolios’ needs, managing capital calls and expenditure, bank facility debt demands/reports and operating expenditure, maintaining milestones and objectives for the Nordic properties, the utilisation of key performance indicators and programming to improve efficiency, introducing sustainability initiatives and managing environmental, social and corporate governance demands, monitoring and reporting as required by the funds and assisting in the underwriting of new investment opportunities and their respective business plans.

Mr. Brown prior to joining BlackRock worked at Savills Investment Management as a Senior Asset Manager in the Nordics. Prior to this he was at Savills based in London working within the Building and Project Consultancy department. Mr Brown is a Chartered Building Surveyor and a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS). He attended Kingston University and attained a first class BSc honours degree in Building Surveying.
